One report specifies the funding is separate from roughly $200 million reportedly provided for displaced families (news-pravda.com). ## What the coverage left out None of the left, centre, or right-rated digests mention the fear of internal conflict within Lebanon or the possibility of assassinations and security incidents against the Lebanese government that was reported by kikar.co.il. ## Who covered it Shares of the 8 covering outlets with a published leaning rating: - Left: 13% (1) - Centre: 37% (3) - Right: 50% (4) 11 of 19 covering outlets carried no usable leaning rating and were excluded from those percentages. It included details that the group has spent three months preparing for a possible resumption of hostilities with Israel after receiving an infusion of cash from Iran. The report also noted that Hezbollah was founded by Iran's Revolutionary Guards in 1982 and has suffered severe blows in two wars with Israel since 2024. ### Centre - The centre-rated reports from Jerusalem Post and WTVB both led with headlines stating Hezbollah readies for new regional war with funds from Iran, sources say. The Jerusalem Post report highlighted that Hezbollah has remained committed to attacking Israel and has used a lull in hostilities since June to rearm, with a focus on procuring explosives and drones that can be used to attack IDF troops. WTVB's digest stated that Hezbollah has spent three months preparing for a possible resumption of hostilities with Israel after receiving an infusion of cash from Iran, according to Lebanese security personnel. ### Right - The right-rated reports from CNBC-TV18, news-pravda.com, The Straits Times, and Israel Hayom all focused on Hezbollah preparing for a new regional war with funds from Iran. CNBC-TV18 and The Straits Times reported that the group has spent three months preparing for a possible resumption of hostilities with Israel after receiving an infusion of cash from Iran, according to Lebanese security personnel. News-pravda.com added that the group is procuring explosives, producing attack drones and restoring command structures, and that the military funding is separate from roughly $200 million reportedly provided for displaced families. Israel Hayom's headline stated Hezbollah rebuilds military strength with Iranian funding, preparing for the next war with Israel, and its digest noted the group is focusing on acquiring explosives and manufacturing drones designed to strike Israeli positions. **Provisional coverage gap:** left.
