President Bola Tinubu called on the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies to ensure a peaceful, transparent and free governorship election in Osun State on 15 August 2026. The statement was issued on 14 August 2026 by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
