The rest of this site reports what happened. This is the column about how it was reported: where the left and the right diverged most, which stories one side barely carried, and which reporting scored highest and lowest, with the counts behind every figure.
None of it rates a newsroom. The scores grade the reporting each story was written from, and the leanings are published by three named organisations rather than by us.

What is The Week in Coverage?
A weekly column on how the press covered the week rather than on what happened. It reports the widest divergence between left and right coverage, the stories one side barely carried, and the highest and lowest scored reporting, with the counts behind each figure.
Do these scores rate news outlets?
No. Every score grades the original reporting an article was written from, not the publisher that filed it. MediaBias News does not rate outlets; the leanings it publishes are the work of AllSides, Ad Fontes Media and Media Bias/Fact Check, each named beside its own verdict.
How is the coverage split measured?
By counting the outlets that ran a story and grouping them by the leaning their rater published. Every figure is given with its denominator, because outlets no rater has placed are not in the percentage and a split quoted without that is misleading.
