Twenty years after the murder of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, the identity of the person who ordered her killing remains unknown. Politkovskaya, known for her critical reporting on the Chechen War and human rights abuses, was shot dead in Moscow on October 7, 2006, which was also Vladimir Putin's birthday.
