Six Delhi Metro stations had their entry and exit gates closed from 6 am to 4 pm on October 12, 2026. The closures were implemented for security reasons ahead of a planned opposition march to the Supreme Court. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge sought a meeting with the Chief Justice of India, which was declined.
