Italian energy company Eni has announced a price cap for petrol and diesel, setting a maximum of €1.99 per litre for petrol and €2.19 per litre for diesel. The measure, intended as a 'contribution of solidarity', will be in effect for 30 days from September 28, 2026, with a possibility of extension.
