Torrential rainfall in Nepal has resulted in at least 21 deaths and five people missing, according to Prime Minister Balendra Shah. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority reported that landslides caused the majority of casualties. The severe weather has also destroyed 143 homes and affected 747 families.
