First US deportation flight to Haiti since TPS cancellation carries 161

A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement flight landed in Cap-Haïtien on 21 August 2026 with 161 passengers, the first deportation to Haiti since the Trump administration ended temporary protected status for more than 350,000 Haitians. All were released on arrival.
