Iran’s Pezeshkian says Tehran will defend itself but not seek escalation

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran does not seek to escalate regional tensions but will use its full capabilities to defend its security and interests. The statement follows US and Israeli attacks on Iran in February and a collapsed ceasefire in July.
