Judge allows paint tests on Eisenhower Building to proceed despite preservationists' objections

A federal judge ruled that paint tests on the Eisenhower Executive Office Building can proceed, rejecting preservationists' request for an injunction. The tests, covering 8 square feet of the exterior, are part of a proposed $7.5m repainting plan by the Trump administration. Plaintiffs argue the project could damage the 19th-century landmark.
