Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf called on citizens to reduce gasoline consumption after a US naval blockade disrupted fuel imports. Ghalibaf said domestic production could meet demand if consumption fell, but queues at petrol stations have already appeared.
