Iranian authorities executed Mohammad Aref Shahbakhsh on Saturday. He was convicted for involvement in an armed attack on a police station in Khash, Sistan-Baluchestan province, which resulted in casualties among police officers. Shahbakhsh was identified as a member of the militant group Jaish al-Adl.
