FDA closes lettuce parasite probe after finding cyclospora at Mexican farm

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that its inspectors found cyclospora at a Taylor Farms facility in Mexico, tying the parasite to a summer lettuce outbreak that sickened almost 13,000 Americans. The agency has now closed the probe.
