Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia fired North Korean ballistic missiles at Zaporizhia on 11 August 2026, killing six civilians and wounding 19. Ukrainian military sources identified the weapons as KN-23 and KN-24 types. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure and coincided with drone strikes across Ukraine.
