Pierre Picavet, president of the French LGBTQ rights association FLAG!, was hospitalised after being attacked in Paris. The assault occurred overnight Saturday to Sunday in the Marais district. Prosecutors stated the attacker used homophobic slurs. A suspect with no prior record has been taken into custody.
