Surrey mosque vandalised with death threats and raw bacon, RCMP investigate hate crime

The Fleetwood Islamic Academy Society in Surrey, British Columbia, reported vandalism including threatening graffiti and raw bacon between 11 p.m. on 30 August and 5 a.m. on 31 August 2026. RCMP are investigating the incident as a hate crime. British Columbia’s attorney general condemned the act.
