The US government sold two oil tankers, Era and Lileo, to Dubai-based Global Marketing Systems for scrap after seizing them in January. The tankers, linked to sanctioned oil exports from Venezuela and Iran, will be dismantled in India. Ownership complexities were noted in the court-authorised sale.
