William Lawrence, the Democratic nominee for Michigan's 7th Congressional District, deleted hundreds of old social media posts. The posts included calls for police and prison abolition, nationalizing fossil-fuel companies, and attacking moderate Democrats. Lawrence has since stated some of his past views are out of step with his current beliefs.
