You know how much I love being on stage, performing, and sharing these moments with you.” The outlet also carried a statement from Laforteza’s mother, Carla Guevarra, who thanked fans for their support and described the group’s management as prioritising the members’ health.
• The left-rated digests highlighted the timing of the hiatus, noting it came ahead of the group’s documentary premiere and the release of their third studio album. Philstar Global and RTV Slovenija both mentioned that Laforteza would step back from promotional commitments. IBTimes Singapore reported that the decision was made after consultations with medical professionals, and Philstar Global added that her condition would be reassessed in September.
• The left-rated reports also placed emphasis on the precedent set by Manon Bannerman’s hiatus in February. Philstar Global and Hollywood Life both noted that Bannerman’s status remains unclear, with questions about whether her break is permanent.
