Quebec premier sets conditions for return of U.S. wines to liquor stores

Quebec Premier Christine Fréchette said she is open to allowing U.S. wines to return to provincial liquor stores, but only if Quebec secures trade concessions. The move follows a year-long ban on U.S. products in retaliation for American tariffs, with new 50% duties on Canadian goods set to take effect on 19 August.
