Berlin state administrations taken offline after hacker attack on Landesnetz

Berlin’s Senate Chancellery reported a hacker attack on the city’s Landesnetz on 17 August 2026. Two administrations were taken offline on 14 August as a precaution. Authorities have not confirmed whether data was stolen or how long operations will be disrupted.
