Moscow fuel stations have reintroduced purchase limits of 30 to 60 litres per vehicle after Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries and high seasonal demand reduced supply. The Russian Ministry of Energy acknowledged ongoing shortages in some regions on 14 August 2026.
